We are taking reservations for dates listed below for our Friday night dinners. Our dinner “format” is a five-course meal, usually consisting of a cold appetizer, a soup, a hot appetizer or pasta, a main course, and dessert. Each course is paired with a different wine. We serve filtered water or soda with the meal. Our price is US$80 for dinner (in pesos we use the “dolar contado con liqui” exchange rate for foreign credit cards), all inclusive.
February-March: We are experimenting with opening for lunch one day a week with a shorter, more casual menu – an appetizer, a pasta (or sometimes another main course), and coffee with something sweet like a cookie to accompany it. The menu will include filtered water or soda. The cost will be AR$40,000. Wine by the glass or craft beer selected to accompany the menu will be available, priced accordingly. More limited seating, as the plan is for us to join the table for the meal. No deposit on the lunches.
Our shared table is an integral part of our dinners and the only option we offer. If you’re looking for another night or day of the week, and are a group of 6-10 people, subject to our availability, we’re happy to discuss booking a private event.
Our menu changes daily due to ingredient availability, guest considerations and our whims. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please ask whether we can accommodate you before or when making the reservation – given our cooking style, if you can’t or prefer not to eat tomatoes, garlic, onions, and/or peppers/chilies, we’re going to say no. Upfront, at our public dinners we don’t offer vegetarian or vegan, gluten or dairy free options, though for a private dinner we can easily do that. Our menus almost always include at least 1-2 courses of seafood (we can work around particular allergies, but if all seafood is out, we probably are too).
When requesting a reservation, we’d appreciate knowing a little about you and how you found out about us. This is in our home after all, and we try to have a mix of interesting dinner guests. Also, please note, just given the type of dinner, these are “adults only”.
Our address isn’t listed here, we’ll send it with your confirmation. The cellular number you find on some websites out there that say it’s ours, isn’t. One little note – while we appreciate the desire to dust off your high school Spanish and practice if it’s not your native language, it’s really unnecessary here in making a reservation with us and too often results in miscommunications.
